Absolutely. Your menu is created around your gathering, preferences, guest count, occasion, and overall experience. You don't have to choose from a fixed menu.

Your experience can include menu planning, ingredient sourcing, preparation, cooking, professional service, plating, and complete kitchen cleanup. Specific inclusions depend on the experience you choose and what we plan together.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible is always best, especially for weekends, holidays, retreats, and larger gatherings. Availability varies, so the best place to start is with an inquiry.

What happens after I inquire?

Once you submit your inquiry, you'll receive the Living Proof Chef Service Experience Guide with more information about the experiences, what's included, and where the investment begins. From there, you'll have the opportunity to schedule a consultation.We'll talk through your plans, answer your questions, and determine the best fit. If we're a good match, I'll create your customized proposal and we'll take it from there.

I'm Chef Janese Boston, founder of Living Proof Chef Service. For more than 12 years, I've built my career around creating memorable dining experiences — from intimate private dinners and milestone celebrations to corporate gatherings, retreats, and special events

But cooking has never been the whole point for me.

I love taking care of people.

That means more than preparing a great meal. It means listening to what you want, anticipating the details, creating an experience that feels effortless, and making sure you and your guests feel genuinely cared for from the first course to the final cleanup.
